while looking at the question in the book i thought about a lot of things to get the answer.

there a quite a few things that i would count as writing outside of school papers and the alphabet when i was younger. i would count texting or going on social media throughout the day as writing i do not count it as education writing but it is a type of writing that most everyone does every day. i can compare this to my school writing because both types of things can be hard to do just on a different level. my school writing is creative but in its own way and then my texting and social media are creative in a very different way. with them having some comparisons it teaches me how to be a better writer in and out of school.

so there are a lot of ways to learn to read and write through research, i have learned very many ways to make myself a better reader and writer throughout this course. at the start of the term my writing made no sense and did not flow together and now at the end of the semester it is making a a lot more sense and i am able to write something that flows with the topic and i do not just write about random things anymore. i feel now after taking this course my writing has a purpose and it is easier to write a great paper. i feel like when we do all the group work together it helps everyone look at each others work and gives us help on our work if we are struggling. when we first started doing research in lass i always struggled and did not know what to look up or what to write but now at the end of the term i know how to do it all.

there are many things that i learned about this semester about what writing is and how to use it here are some things that i learned. the first thing that i learned is that when writing you need to make sure that you take the time to actually reflect on what you are saying and how you are saying it and to make sure that everything flows together. the second thing is that not all people will write the same with that being said not everyones writing will mean the same.

While reading Nancy Sommers “I stand here writing” on page 212-221 i felt that she talked a lot about the truth and being able to accomplish in life. she talked about how life might be crazy and full of a lot of things to do you can always find ways to get around those struggles and overcome what you need to get done. I feel that reading this passage it really helped me by knowing in this group work that even if we come across struggles that we can get through them and it might be hard but it will work out. She also talks about how her family always encouraged her and helped her so it never hurts to ask for help even if you dont feel that it is needed. I feel that the moral of this passage is that it doesnt matter the situation you can always get through something even if it has rocky parts.

the ways that i have grown as a student are i am more prepared and i am more focused in class now then i was 3 weeks ago, i am also willing to go a little out of my comfort zone to do things. That being said i use to not read things out loud in the beginning of the term but now i will. I feel as if this project will help me with my skills such as since my role in the project is to take notes about the project.

there are a few things that i am very confident about in the fact that i think my group will do very well in the research project and we will all work as a team to make it amazing. another thing that i am certain about is everyone is going to keep track of each other for great time management. the one thing that i am uncertain about is if i miss something specific that i was supposed to do and they were all relying on me nut just forgot to do it because time slipped away. the skills that i

I feel as if i am doing very well in all of my classes except math, i am holding onto old habits from high school in math. Some of my old habits are saying that i cant do it even though i really can and also not focussing if i don’t understand the topic i tend to just back away and block it out. One other thing that i think that i am struggling with is wanting to do the work. Some things that are going really well for me i would say are i am getting better at managing my time and staying focused when i know what i am doing.

I have a few memories of writing from growing up i can remember when we would write in elementary school i would never know what to write about. They would give us a prompt but i would much rather do a free writing because if i have to have a set topic i struggle with starting it, i tend to over think everything that i try to write/think about. I feel like the impact that it has left on me today that i think that i still can not write that way which is not the case at all. I still feel like i can not write properly i feel like i just have run on sentences and that i make no sense.
